This traditional matcha whisk (Chasen) is made from natural black bamboo. Our whisk is handcrafted from a single piece of bamboo and has 100 tines to help froth your matcha and bring out the most flavor.

Directions for use:
Place whisk in bowl of warm water before each use to soften up bristles. After a few minutes tines will soften up and your whisk is ready to use.
Whisk your matcha in a bowl with warm water. Start with a circle motion to ensure matcha mixes well, then quickly whisk in M shaped motion to further froth your matcha.
Cleaning and care:
Rinse with warm water after each use to clean off matcha build up. If needed, use wet cloth to get hard to remove powder. Place on whisk holder to help maintain shape and air dry. Do not use dishwasher.
Product may expand due to humidity, this is perfectly normal as our whisk is made from natural bamboo and will return to its prior shape.
